GP Training
We are delighted to welcome Dr Milda Bubnyte, who will join our team as a Trainee in August 2023.
Dr Bubnyte will be with the Practice as our ST1 for 6 months. Dr Bubnyte joined in August 2023 and will be here until February 2024. Dr Katrina Bhagwandeen will re-join our Team as a ST3 Trainee in February 2024. Dr Bhagwandeen will be here for 12 months.
Bonnybank Medical Practice has been accredited as a Training Practice, coaching GPs of the future.
HCP-Med Programme
We are also involved with the HCP-Med Programme, Edinburgh University. We currently have 2 medical students from the Programme, Hamza Siddique and Stuart Chalmers. Hamza and Stuart will be with the Practice for 3 years.
Locum Doctors
Locum Doctors are sometimes used to provide clinics and appointments. Locum Doctors are fully qualified GPs who provide medical services to more than one Practice. You may be offered an appointment with a locum doctor when telephoning the Surgery.
